The first rule is to have fun and make sure you participate in a way to make it fun as well for your fellow racers and spectators.
A 27mhz or 75mhz radio system must be used and you must have a minimum of two frequencies to race, unless you are using a 2.4GHz DSM System -or- a Japanese/European Frequency system (40mhz).
Batteries must be ROAR approved 2-cell LiPo (7.4v) or 6-cell NiMH / NiCd (7.2v) packs.
All vehicles are required to have painted Lexan bodies when on the racetrack. NO clear unpainted bodies are allowed. Any brand of body is permitted, subject to the respective Divisional Rules.
Tire limitations are appropriate sized rubber tires only for the scale of the car driven. Please refer to the Divisional Rules for applicable tire / wheel details.
All vehicles are limited to operation inside the racetrack boundaries only. NO driving or testing racecars outside the racetrack -- NO EXCEPTIONS! After one warning, you will be asked to leave the event if this warning is not followed.
EGTC Statistics & Points are awarded to the driver and are only awarded if the driver"s car number is displayed per the Car Number Rules.
A personal AMB-compatible transponder is required in order to be scored during a race. Failure of any personal transponders through the scoring system or missing the timing loop is the racer's responsibility, not the EGTC Series.
The EGTC Series reserves the right to have a 5 car minimum to run any class, if there are less than 4 by the time the mains start they may run a shortened race, per the race directors discretion.
All drivers must have an active ROAR membership and provide their ROAR number to the EGTC Officials at registration time in order to race.
All drivers must be in compliance with Edmonds School District No. 15 policy 9200 R1 and WA State Law (RCW 70.160.030), which will be posted at the track.
EGTC Rules may be adjusted, as competition deems necessary.

Car numbers must be registered and used in all divisions to compete in the Everett Grand Touring Car Series.
NASCAR style door numbers, number boards, or "Gumball" style numbers are required. Formula One cars
must run Nose and Rear Wing numbers.
Numbers should be a contrasting color to the paint scheme and sized for easy visibility from the race control &
spectator areas. Roof numbers are suggested, but not required.
Studio 11 Graphix will have generic number sets available at the track for purchase - $3.00 per car.
If you want custom number sets contact Studio 11 Graphix at:

Registration is from 9:45-10:30am.
Drivers are required to pay their race fees prior to using the racetrack
Drivers who do not register 30 minutes before the completion of practice will miss the first round of qualifying unless prior arrangements are made.
Please refer to the Race Day Timetable on the Race Format page for each events exact time schedule.
|

The Practice Schedule is: 10:00-10:20 TORC Trucks 10:20-11:00 Open, No Trucks
Practice Sessions will allow a separate practice time for TORC Trucks with open track time for all other divisions.
Prior to practicing on the track, drivers must register and pay race fees at the race control area.
Drivers are required to come over to the race control area after one battery use and check in to see if another racer needs to use their frequency (unless they are using a 2.4GHz DSM System).
If the practice session is crowded, please be considerate of other drivers and limit your session(s) to 5 minutes at a time to allow other drivers a chance to get some practice time as well.
EGTC Officials reserve the right to monitor fair practice access for everyone.
|

There will be a 11:05am Drivers Meeting and racing begins promptly at 11:15am
All Drivers in the EGTC Series are required to attend the drivers meeting when one is held.
Please pay attention during the Drivers Meeting. Drivers will be expected to understand all new information and rules prior to racing.
Rules governing safety, sportsmanship, technical inspections and other issues may be summarized. Specific race information and rules questions should be asked at this time.
EGTC Series Officials will be available to clarify any questions drivers may have.

Corner working is a key component to the race day and must be executed at all times.
The races will NOT begin unless all racers in the prior heat or race participate in their corner working duty. The only exception to this rule is if a driver from the previous race is currently racing in the subsequent heat or is helping conduct the race series.
After each Qualifying Round and Main Event, drivers will proceed directly to the race track for corner working - regardless if they started or finished the race.
Racers in the last heat or main event will corner work the first race heat or main event.
If the Race Director calls out a racer’s name for corner working duties, the racer or his/her authorized replacement must be recognized.
Non-ROAR members & spectators are not allowed on the track or racing surface at any time to corner work and we ask that all corner workers help to keep spectators safely back from the racetrack boundaries.
Corner workers must wear closed toed shoes when corner working at all times per ROAR rules.
Corner workers must concentrate on their area, not the race, and should not make any sort of lengthy repairs to a car.
If a vehicle is damaged so that it may not safely continue racing, the corner worker must safely place it outside of the racetrack and out of the way of the remaining racers.
Corner workers are also prohibited from talking/texting on cell phones or smoking during the race.
Please make the same effort in working your area as you would expect from a fellow racer in return when you are up on the drivers stand.
|

Pit stops to make repairs, change batteries, etc. must be completed in the pit area of the track, which will be designated for all drivers during the drivers’ meeting.
Pit road is to be used as the staging area upon completion of racing. EGTC Series officials will monitor the pit area during each race. It is required for drivers to be under control at a reasonable speed when traveling in pit lane.
|

Personal Transponders aren't required to compete in EGTC Series races. Drivers may still run their cars if they do not have one and they will be recognized but not scored during the event.
Please make sure it is installed securely and that the right number for each car entered is given to the series prior to racing to eliminate delays during the program. Failure of any personal transponders through the scoring system or missing the timing loop is the racers responsibility, not the Series.
|

Please follow the rules of the Divisions you are competing in for applicable rules, regulations, and restrictions.
EGTC Series Officials reserve the discretion to perform Tech Inspections at random.
In the event of a random tech inspection, drivers are required to present their equipment immediately and will not be allowed to race if they refuse. If detailed inspections are required, the driver(s) involved will receive their racecars as quickly as possible.
If a random technical inspection is not passed, that car is not allowed to compete until it complies with the rules for that division. If any driver fails a post-race inspection, they will be disqualified and the final results sorted accordingly.
During a post-race tech inspection, drivers must leave their cars at the race control area and proceed directly to the racetrack for corner working the following race will not begin until corner workers are in place.
Cars that are deemed unsafe or illegal during a race or a tech inspection will NOT be allowed to race until they are repaired, re-inspected for compliance, and permitted by an EGTC Series Officer to return to racing.

EGTC Officials can confirm any rules questions you may have. If EGTC rules are violated, penalties may occur depending on the circumstance or infraction.
Continuous rough/dirty driving, bad sportsmanship, excessive foul language, alcoholic drinking, and smoking on the EGTC Series premises are considered serious violations of the EGTC rules, Edmonds School District Policy and could result in a competitor being disqualified from the current round or being asked to leave the event.
After one warning, a competitor that is asked to leave the event forfeits all race fees for that day.
EGTC Race Officials may issue warnings. The Series Director and Rules stewards will confirm penalties ONLY. If you have a dispute, please see the EGTC Officials immediately. Upon review, penalties will be served at the following event after the final decision on the infraction has been determined.

If we have rain on a race day, we request that all racers check the weather tracker on the EGTC web site (egtc-series.com) before the track is scheduled to be open for practice.
Postponements, rain outs, or race day cancellations due to extenuating circumstances will be announced on the series web site and on the RCTech.net forum in the Northwest Racers section (the “EGTC Summer Outdoor Series (ESLROC)” Thread).
If racing has started and it begins to rain, we will stop the race and decide whether or not to "call the race" due to weather conditions. The race may only be "called" if we have completed any single round of racing in any division, we will then announce the winners in those divisions.
If practice was held and the event was shortened due to weather, race fees will not be refunded. Rained out races may be made up at the end of the season (at the discretion of the Series Race Director).
All Rules & Regulations are subject to change by Everett Grand Touring Car Series Officials. If any rules are changed during the
season, be it unlikely, amendments will be displayed in the track Rule Book and on the web site by the next series event.
